The Pic-O-De-Crop (POC) Calypso Competition is a world-class musical presentation and one of the most highly anticipated events on the calendar.  The Calypso Monarch title is the most sought after award in local music and major changes to the competition will likely spark more conversation. The POC’s crucial objective is to preserve the calypso tradition of Barbados by providing a creative space for the art form function and a prominent place within the festival.
