Writers’ Clinic – February

Journey into the heart of songwriting with Cheyne Jones at the NCF’s Writers’ Clinic on Saturday, February 10.

Award-winning songwriter and co-founder of WaterstreetBoyz, Cheyne’s passion for poetry began primary school and his love for calypso has been the cornerstone of his creativity, leading him to songwriting. In 2014, he teamed up with Ian ‘iWeb’ Webster to form WaterstreetBoyz, and the duo became a dynamic force in the industry, claiming four Pic-O-De-Crop crowns and several top 5 placements.

Pushing the boundaries through storytelling in music, Cheyne has earned several accolades including Songwriter of the Year in 2019, 2022, and 2023.
