Position Summary

CARIFESTA XV is seeking talented and passionateFreelance Photographers, Videographers, and Graphic Designers to contribute to the success of the festival. These professionals will be responsible for capturing and promoting the vibrancy of CARIFESTA XV through strategic event execution, high-quality visual documentation, and engaging digital content creation.

Scope of Work

Freelance Photographers & Videographers

• Capture high-quality images and video content from key CARIFESTA XV events.
• Ensure consistent branding and storytelling through visual documentation.
• Edit and deliver professional-grade content for media, marketing, and archival purposes.
• Work closely with event organizers to identify key moments to document.
• Maintain a fast turnaround for digital assets to be used in live event coverage.

Graphic Designers

• Create compelling digital and print materials that align with CARIFESTA XV’s branding.
• Design promotional materials, social media graphics, and event signage.
• Collaborate with media and marketing teams to ensure consistency across all platforms.
• Produce engaging visual content for festival publications and outreach campaigns.

Candidate Qualifications and Competencies

The ideal candidates should have:

• A degree or certification in Event Management, Visual Arts, Photography, Videography, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in their respective disciplines.
• Strong project management and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of Caribbean culture, arts, and festival management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving event requirements.
• Experience working in high-paced, large-scale cultural events.

Duration of Contract

• March – September 2025

Key Deliverables and Milestones

• March – April 2025: Develop detailed event plans and coordinate logistics.
• May – June 2025: Confirm participation of key stakeholders, finalize schedules.
• July 2025: Conduct pre-festival site visits, rehearsals, and stakeholder briefings.
• August 2025: Execute assigned tasks and oversee smooth operations.
• September 2025: Submit post-event reports, final visuals, and design assets.

Reporting and Supervision

All selected candidates will report to the CARIFESTA XV Event Management Team and collaborate with various festival coordinators.
