The 2025 Courtesy Garage Pic-O-De-Crop Competition is in full swing, following two thrilling nights of tent judging that kicked off the race to the Finals.
On Monday, July 14, the Shining Stars opened the judging series at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre with an impressive showcase of sharp lyricism, social commentary, and rich musical storytelling. The excitement continued on Monday night with performances from the Super Gladiators, who brought their A-game to the same venue in front of a spirited audience and the official judging panel.

The judging now moves to the Garfield Sobers Complex, where tonight (Wednesday, July 16) the Stray Cats are set to deliver their presentations from 7:00 p.m. onwards. Patrons are encouraged to attend and support their favourite calypsonians as they aim to secure a spot in the highly anticipated Finals.
This year’s Courtesy Garage Pic-O-De-Crop Competition is powered by Q 100.7 FM and supported by a strong lineup of sponsors including Sol Xtend, FLOW, PwC, Dasani, Coca-Cola No Sugar, Nicholls Bakery, Mount Gay Rum, Creamery Novelties, and Berger Paints – all playing a vital role in preserving and promoting Barbados’ vibrant calypso tradition.
