The Mega Soca Karaoke Competition

Enter the Mega Soca Karaoke for a chance to sing on the LIME/HOTT95.3FM Mega Cavalcade stage on May 29th in the ultimate karaoke showdown. Upload a video clip of you singing a Bajan Soca song, hashtag it #MegaSocaKaraoke, and get your friends to vote for your chance to be one of our six (6) finalists. Get up & Get singing!

 Official Competition Rules:

1. Participants must be at least 18 years at April 30, 2015.
2. The online competition starts on May 1, 2015 at 9:00 a.m. and ends on May 22, 2015 at 4:00 p.m.
3. Entry is by online only.
4. The social media profile used to upload participant’s entry must be open to the public.
5. Participants must choose an original Barbadian Soca Song to be performed in the competition.
6. The six (6) participants with the most votes at the end of the online competition will be selected as the finalists to go forward to the on-stage competition.
7. Only votes cast in the official gallery will be counted.
8. Voting is restricted to once per IP address per day.
9. Voting closes at 4:00p.m. on May 22, 2015.
10. Participants selected as finalists you must submit their full name, telephone number and email address via private message before 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday May 26, 2015
11. The on-stage competition will take place during the LIME/Hott95.3FM Mega Cavalcade on May 29, 2015 at Queen’s Park.
12. By participating, you are consenting to the rules of the competition and to the use of your name and image in this and future promotions of the National Cultural Foundation online, on radio, television and in the print media.
13. The winner will receive a Mobile Phone plus two (2) tickets to Soca Royale; the second (2nd) place finalist will receive two (2) tickets to Soca Royale; and the third (3rd) place finalist will receive one (1) ticket to Soca Royale.
14. The finalists will be required to sing one of the following songs from the official Mega Soca Karaoke Song List in the on-stage competition.
