From Bussa to Barrow and Beyond directed by Sonia Williams “From Bussa to Barrow and Beyond” is what we call a ‘devised’ script which means that we have pulled and culled and used a multiplicity of voices to tell the story.

The story we tell here is the story of a nation; it explores the development of a national philosophy, it traces the journey of a people’s becoming and covers 200 years of history. It could not have been told by any one writer.
