Background
This year 2025, Barbados will host CARIFESTA XV, the premier regional event in cultural integration where each participating nation will showcase the best of their country through the Arts. It will be held from August 22 – 31. Countries from CARICOM and the wider African Diaspora will also be participating.
Suggested Materials: Participants bring with them a range a range of the following recycled materials for use in their respective projects for example: a note book, plastic bottle caps and glass bottle caps, large and small pep bottles, fabric, discarded computer components, acrylic, gouache, water colour, oil, canvases/ canvas boards, water colour sketch pad (six (6) 18” x 24”), a range of brushes (No. 1 to No. 10 hogs hair, bristle hair, sable hair.), putty eraser, charcoal sticks, pencils ( HB, 2B, 5B, 7B.)
