GENERAL
The COVID19 Creatives Grant (CCG) Fund is a stimulus programme dedicated to assisting Creative Industries and Sports Practitioners over the course of the next four months, in the production of training and entertainment-based digital content. Creative Industries practitioners must first be registered with the Barbados Artists Registry.
ELIGIBILITY
Approved Cultural Practitioners or Cultural Organizations registered under the Barbados National Artists Registry, and sportspersons approved by the National Sports Council. Cultural Practitioners or Cultural Organizations can register at www.barbadosartists.bb. Once approved, they will be given a number and a certificate which recognises them as a cultural practitioner. The approval process takes no longer than 48 hours. Please note that sportspersons are NOT required to register with the Barbados National Artists Registry.
APPLICATIONS
Eligible applicants can do any one of the following:

Providing that all documents are received and verified approval can be processed and decisions communicated to applicants within five working days.
Applicants will be notified of the NCF’s decision within 48 hours of the approval being granted, via email or the telephone contact provided.
**Completing an application provides no guarantee of receiving funding assistance.
Unsuccessful applicants will be mentored and encouraged to resubmit amended proposals.
SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS
In addition to the completed application form, applicants should have the following:
Quotations and invoices from service providers complete with the service provider’s TAMIS/TIN number, address and contact details and invoice number
A budget itemizing all costs and potential revenue to be generated from the project
Please note that the assessing officer may request additional information around the financial status of your business.

NEXT STEPS AFTER APPROVAL
Applicants are required to sign the beneficiary agreement upon notice of approval agreeing to the terms of the grant. This will trigger the disbursement process of the funding. NO FUNDS SHALL BE DISBURSED without signing of the beneficiary agreement.
ALL payments are made to the service providers, talent and producers identified in the proposal in the first instance; any remaining funds may be paid directly to the grant recipient and these shall be signed for and collected by the grant recipient or their authorized collector.
An agreed period of reporting on the project agreed as stated in the beneficiary agreement will require you to submit receipts and a report on the progress of your project. Failure to report may result in the requirement to repay the funds in full.

All applications and assessments are strictly confidential.

Project MUST be digital content
Applicant must benefit from the application i.e. all funds should not go to service providers
Service providers may only benefit from two disbursements of the Fund

If you have already benefited from the Cultural Industries Development Fund, you may still be eligible for the COVID Creative Grant, please get in touch with us to verify.
All created content must be made available for the NCF to distribute on its platforms.
