The National Cultural Foundation will host a Crop Over Songwriters Workshop on Saturday May 7th, 2016 at the Hilton Hotel, featuring Keynote Speaker: the eight-time Calypso Monarch of Trinidad and Tobago – Dr. Hollis ‘Chalkdust’ Liverpool.
This interactive workshop will also feature presentations from Historian Trevor Marshall and Senior Research Fellow at U.W.I. & former Pic-O-De Crop Judge Dr. Don Marshall. The presentations will be followed by a panel discussion with prominent Barbadian calypso writers and music analysts.
All song writers are welcome to register for this workshop by May 6th, 2016*. For further information, please contact Ms. Karen Oliver – Festival Assistant at 417-6646.
