One of the biggest and best shows of the 2025 Crop Over Season will take place tomorrow at Illaro Court, which will come alive to the sound of sweet music from 7 p.m.

Liberty Business Fusions, the Ultimate Blend, is shaping up to be a night of music and magic as some of the best of Barbados take to the stage to perform popular Crop Over hits of the past and present in ways Barbadians have never seen before.

Some of the renowned acts that will add their portion to the magical evening, include Adrian Clarke, Ch’an, Romaro Greaves, Willie Kerr, iWeb, Jamal Slocombe, Paula Hinds, and Elan Trotman who will be flying in just to perform on this stage. Also in the line-up are Nikita Vaughan, Chrystal Cummins-Beckles, Shadia Marshall, Mikey, Iz A Vybe, Darien Bailey, Casheda Dottin, Sunrokk, TC, Ziggy Walcott, Alison Hinds, Li’L Rick, Leadpipe & Saddis, John Roett, Biggie Irie, Nikita and a mass drum corps led by Dwight Callender, plus a surprise act gracing the stage.

Event producer, Sophia Catwell, said patrons will be treated to the fusing of different genres of music delivered by a line-up of artistes she has described as some of the most amazing talent across Barbados.

“We are fusing calypso, soca with other genres, for example classical with calypso. There will also be a fusion between instrumentalists and singers. You will get to hear old classics mixed with new classics. So we are encouraging people to come excited about seeing the best that Barbados has to offer in a relaxed atmosphere. This is the Fusions we all would have come to know and love and this year it is back and Title sponsored by Liberty Business…,” Catwell said.

She added: “There will be chairs on the lawns of Ilaro Court and you enter through the LESC [Loyd Erskine Sandiford Centre] main gate and parking is available in that carpark and the high rise carpark, and then make your way across to the other gate by ilaro Court.”

Nikita captivating the crowd at the 2024 edition of Fusions. She will be returning again this year.

The huge performing cast will be directed by bandleader Dwain ‘Dwaingerous’ Antrobus and the Fusions Band, this will be his first show of this kind for Crop Over.

And from what has been happening at rehearsals, Antrobus said the event is definitely not one to be missed.

“We [are] bringing a mixture of stuff. We doing calypso, funk, reggae, soca, even dancehall, bashment, you name it, we’ll be playing it. You don’t get to see this calibre of artistes coming together on an event like this. Events like this

usually bring a lot of artistes together, a lot of musicians together, I get to work with international and local, old, legends, from icons straight down to newer artistes, break out artistes.

“I like everything that is going on but the one I would say you should really come out and listen to is the one that Lil Rick is going to do. Well, he gine do something old and and he gine do something new,” Antrobus said.

Artiste Biggie Irie is looking forward to his performance during which he will be paying tribute to a well-loved band. “I’ll be paying tribute to Spice and Company. Yes, the big band Spice and Company. So come on out, bring the family, it’s going to be wicked, it’s going to be off the chain,” Biggie Irie said.

Liberty Business Fusions, the Ultimate Fusions, the Ultimate Blend, is in association with Hitz 106.7FM, the Central Bank of Barbados, Dasani, the official water of the Festival; SOL Xtend, fueling the festival; Nicholls, the official bread of the Festival; Omega Excel, Hennessey, the Spirit of Crop Over and South Point Hotel.
