Join us for the CARIFESTA XV Pre-Event Online Hairstyling Competition, where heritage meets innovation and natural hair becomes a canvas for cultural excellence!
We are looking for the boldest, most creative natural hairstyles, using, braiding or locs styling techniques. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a talented newcomer, this is your chance to show the world how Caribbean hair tells our story of pride, power, and creativity.
Submit a short video or photo series of you creating your best natural hair look. If selected, you will win cash prizes AND the opportunity to showcase your masterpiece at the Global Excellence Hair Showcase at CARIFESTA XV 2025.
Who Can Enter: Open to natural hair stylists from the Caribbean Must be in Barbados on August 25, 2025.
Categories: Youth (18 and under) Amateur (non-professional Professional (trained or working hair stylists)
Prizes:
- Professional: $1500
- Amateur: $1000
- Youth: $500
Each winner will be featured at the Global Excellence Hair Showcase at CARIFESTA XV
