Royal Caribbean International is inviting Caribbean artists to create art installations for their new vessel, Star of the Seas through the Artist Discovery Program.
The Royal Caribbean Artist Discovery Program spotlights up-and-coming artists from the region, highlighting their creativity, talent, and culture to the millions of guests that sail with RCI’s brands each year. Four artists will be selected to go aboard and create large-scale murals in one of four marquee locations onboard Star of the Seas, before the ship sets sail in the Caribbean beginning August 2025.
Every artist will receive a grant from the cruise line, ranging from $20,000 to more than $100,000, to see their vision through. Star is currently under construction at a ship-yard in Turku, Finland so the winning artists will travel there to work with the RCI’s team to curate their creative masterpieces.
Artists can visit the below website for more information on entry guidelines and to submit their application.
Deadline for submission is February 15th, 2025: https://www.royalcaribbeangroup.com/artist-discovery-program/
