Grand Kadooment

Hailed as the climax of the Crop Over Festival, the Grand Kadooment parade is the finale of the multifaceted festival. Boasting a brand new route, Grand Kadooment will feature a parade of the masquerade bands from the Helipad in Bridgetown proceeding onto Hinks Street in the direction of Kensington Oval. Continuing up President Kennedy Drive towards Eagle Hall we then travel along Black Rock main road before parading down the iconic Mighty Grynner Highway.

This event will have multiple entertainment zones to keep participants and spectators tantalised with the sights, sounds and smells of the biggest street party. Tens of thousands of locals and visitors to the island will take up every vantage point to see the many earthshaking music trucks and the thousands of masqueraders in a sea of colour, fantasy and feathers as they parade on the nearly 10 km-long route.

Grand Kadooment is easily one of the most anticipated events and is central to the life of the Crop Over Festival offering something sweet for every taste and lifestyle. Buttress by the rhythms of tuk, calypso and soca music, the event continues to attract local and international attention as the highlight of the Crop Over Festival.
