Patrons attending the Pic-O-De-Crop Finals at the National Botanical Gardens tonight, Friday, July 31, will have access to a special after-show shuttle service provided by the Barbados Transport Board.
The service will cover ten combined routes across the island, giving patrons a convenient transportation option following the conclusion of the competition.
The routes will serve the following areas:
1. Martin’s Bay, Flat Rock and Bathsheba
2. Grazettes, Wanstead and Holders Hill
3. St Andrew Church, Shorey Village and Jackson
4. Workmans, St Judes, Greens, Drax Hall, Society and Bowmanston
5. Sugar Hill and Chalky Mount
6. Indian Ground, Boscobelle, Pie Corner, Josey Hill and Connelltown
7. Sam Lord’s Castle, Fairy Valley and Silver Sands
8. Bayfield and Kendal
9. St Patrick’s and Yorkshire
10. College Savannah and Sargeant Street
The Pic-O-De-Crop Finals are expected to conclude at approximately 2:00 a.m. on Saturday. Buses will be positioned and ready from approximately 1:15 a.m. to facilitate an efficient departure once the event has ended.
Should the competition conclude earlier or later than anticipated, the shuttle service will be adjusted accordingly.
Patrons using the service will be required to pay a fare of $7 per person when boarding.
The public is encouraged to take advantage of the service and make the necessary arrangements to travel safely following the Pic-O-De-Crop Finals. (PR)
