Welcome to the NCF. We are proud to have been charged with the responsibility of preserving and promoting the key element of the life of our nation which though distinctively Caribbean, still uniquely differentiates us from all other people in the region and the world.
 
As you explore this interactive website, not only will you be treated to the amusing aspects, as well as the deep and fundamental characteristics of Barbadian culture as we seek to educate you and promote the activities and festivals which forms our annual calendar of cultural events. You will also be given the opportunity to make an input into the development of our programmes.
 
We hope that this website may inform our many visitors to the island, Barbadians living in the Diaspora and support the many Barbadians in shaping their cultural identity as we provide information on our activities in the areas of Film, Dance, Theatre, Literature, Music and Culinary Art and the cultural industries.
